Bahnhof's installation department is growing, and we are now looking for a driven installation technician in Stockholm. It's a fun and challenging job that requires a technically skilled, social, and solution-oriented person.

About the role

As an installation technician, no day is the same, and you often need to think creatively to solve installations, troubleshooting, and other technical challenges.

You will primarily install fiber connections for companies and housing associations in our wavelength network NL17. We mainly work in Layer 1 and to some extent Layer 2. In your toolbox, you have, among other things, power meters, troubleshooting lasers, and tone generators/receivers. The work mainly takes place in Stockholm, but some assignments may occur outside the region.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Is self-driven, solution-oriented, and organized.
• Has experience in installation technology or telecommunications.
• Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has a B driver's license and enjoys driving.
• Has knowledge of OTDR and power measurement.
• Has experience in fiber termination and WDM technology (CWDM/DWDM).
• Enjoys fieldwork and customer contact.
• Is flexible with working hours (evening and night shifts may occur).

It’s a plus if you have:

• Good local knowledge of Stockholm and surrounding areas.
• Experience in copper termination.
• ECS training.
• Knowledge of WiFi/EKAHAU.

Other

Location: Our data center Thule at Tunnelgatan 2, Stockholm.

Scope: Full-time, probationary employment for 6 months.
